Everything in the library looks its best on the 10.1-inch 1080p Full HD display, while 3GB of RAM and a 25% increase in performance over the previous generation ensure that apps and episodes run seamlessly from one to the next.
Little fingers get plenty of help, too, as preset filters for 3-7-year-olds adjust as the child grows, and larger, image-based buttons keep the interface simple, so the Fire HD 10 Kids will stay useful for years to come.
What they’re watching stays in your hands, because screen time limits, sleep times, website blocking, device pausing, and app purchase approvals can all be controlled from your phone via the parent dashboard, even remotely.
Battery life keeps up with them, too: with up to 13 hours of battery life, the Fire HD 10 Kids can handle long trips, while 32GB of storage and a microSD slot that supports up to 1TB leave room for your growing collection of movies, games and books.
The Kid-Proof case with a built-in stand protects the tablet from everyday drops and bumps, wherever you take it. If something still breaks, the 2-year worry-free warranty means Amazon will replace the Fire HD 10 Kids tablet for free.
For parents of 3-7 year olds, this £85 saving makes a home tablet, a year of Amazon Kids+ and a 2-year warranty an easy family buy, so grab the Fire HD 10 Kids while the deal lasts.
If you’re looking for a tablet for your child with a robust design, great parental controls and a big screen for under £200, the Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids is great. Its performance and charging speed are not the fastest, but the user interface is easy to use – the display is large and colorful even for smaller children, and the Amazon Kids+ subscription service is more than capable of entertaining and educating children for hours.
