To make things even weirder, the redesigned high-end MacBook Pros are also expected to launch with the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, instead of the M6 version. Apple recently decided to abandon its plans for the high-end M6 chip in favor of the faster M7.
In short, it will look like this:

- Spring 2027: Entry level MacBook Pro There is M7 and new design
- Fall 2027: Advanced MacBook Pro Refresh with M7 Pro/M7 Max
Of course, the new design is expected to have a slightly thinner body, an OLED display with touch support, and may come with a Dynamic Island.
