The US government transferred 9,261 bitcoins worth $770 million to Coinbase Prime, stemming from the seizure of assets linked to previous cryptocurrency exploits.
Of the 9,261 bitcoins (BTC) transferred over the past two days, half were recovered from Bitfinex hackers, while the other part stemmed from the well-known Binance spat, Galaxy Research wrote on Thursday X post.
An additional 2,456 BTC originated from previously unknown holdings and were sent to US government seizure addresses on Coinbase Prime and may represent new law enforcement seizures, according to Galaxy.
