Rare deals have the M4 Mac mini down to $649, the new M6 is up nearly $150

While this M4 model also saw a price increase earlier this year, and there was a time when this module was cheaper than it is now, it is still one of the lowest points of the modern headless Mac.
There are some refurbished items out there, but Best Buy is offering new, condition items for $131 under the retail price. The cheapest M6 model is here. For the record, the official Apple Refurbished Store is out of stock on the Mac mini at the time of writing.
There is some solid value left in the M4 mini – I still run one and it’s great. However, at this point I might want to just splurge on the more powerful M6 mini, or just save up for one until I’m ready to pull the trigger. The M6 is a more expensive machine with the same RAM and storage specs, but you’ll still find two configs for up to $149 off via Amazon right now:

The discounts are light on all models, but the Rose Pink model is gone and sold out now – just $10 off – but you can still score what seems to be more popular. We’ll keep a close eye on the listing, but considering how many of these are flying off the shelves, it might be a good idea to consider securing one now before Amazon moves the delivery date up as well.
The date may continue to be pushed deeper into December directly from Apple as time goes on, and it’s only a matter of time before the Amazon listing conflicts with the launch date.
