Welcome to the Indie App Spotlight. This is a weekly 9to5Mac series where we showcase the latest apps in the indie app world. If you are a developer and want your app to stand out, please get in touch.
If you are someone who collects many different Apple products, Hardware is your one stop shop for tracking it all. Hoardware lets you keep track of all your hardware, as well as software versions, model numbers, and anything else that might be relevant.
Highlights
Hardware Most are useful as collector’s tools. Say you have a large vintage iPhone collection. Hoardware will help you track every single iPhone, its iOS version, its serial number, and anything else you want to record. There is also a management tab, where you can see how many devices you own in each iOS version.
Of course, it is not only useful for collectors. You can add new devices too, and Hoardware has a feature where it can notify you when there’s a new software update for your device, so you can see it sooner than Apple tells you.
Adding equipment Hardware is simple. There are lists you can scroll through, then you choose from there – and most of the details are filled in automatically. The app will even provide a photo of the device automatically.
Finally, you can also set devices as favorites so you can easily find them in a crowded list, if you are an avid collector. Your library will sync across iCloud as well.
