The Apple Watch Series 12 may finally make me switch from WHOOP

Earlier this year, I chose a WHOOP for the first time. for a long time Apple Watch As a user, I hope there will be a new way to track my health statistics in a cleaner interface that the Apple Watch does not offer. Now, with Apple Watch Series 12I am very confident to switch back to Apple Watch. This is the reason.

First things first, it’s worth noting Apple Watch Series 12 Not the only factor. There’s also a new Apple Health app in iOS 27.

The new Apple Health app has a better interface. It provides your statistics in a cleaner manner. It is very easy to understand all the information, which for me is the main thing that breaks the Apple Watch.

Apple Health isn’t the only reason I don’t use it Apple WatchAlthough. It is also true that the Apple Watch does not collect data as often WHOOP Yes. Apple Watch Series 12 now collects your heart rate every 5 seconds, compared to every 5 minutes in the previous version. This is still less than WHOOP Every 1 second, but as long as you’re not an athlete, I think every 5 seconds is fine.

Series 12 Also introduced the new Ready app Apple Watchwhich gives you a health score of 1-10 based on your HRV and other factors. This is similar to the recovery score calculated by WHOOP, which is one of the things I like to track, because even Apple Watch Always offer a sleep score, it’s not always the most useful information. If you sleep for a long time, you will generally get a high score, regardless of other sleep factors.

Wrap up

Only time will tell whether or not Apple Watch Series 12 It is actually a game changer for health. As those who have used WHOOP For the past half year or so, I’ve been hoping for the potential to get into the Apple Watch again.

Even though I used to be WHOOP User, I never ditched mine Apple WatchAbsolutely because the screen provides many benefits. I don’t want to always pull out my phone.
