Bahrain Grand Prix is streaming for free On Apple TV this weekend, subscription is not required. Rather amusingly, the location of the Bahrain Grand Prix is actually in Sepang, Malaysia.
Usually, F1 on Apple TV requires a paid subscription. But this weekend, everyone can visit for free. You can follow the qualifiers in preparation for tonight’s live broadcast of the tournament, which will begin at 3 AM ET.
All you need to watch is get the Apple TV app on a compatible device, be in the US, and stay up late enough to watch it live.
The tournament begins at 1:50 AM ET, with the race starting at 3 AM ET. Of course you can watch on demand later, if you choose to go to bed at a reasonable hour.
You can get the Apple TV app on Apple devices, Amazon Fire Stick, Roku, PlayStation, Xbox, Android and more. You can also look at the web browser tv.apple.com.
With qualifying taking place yesterday, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen took the lead for the first time this season, with Lewis Hamilton taking second and championship leader Kim Antonelli in third. It was Red Bull’s best chance of winning the race so far this year.
You may be wondering why the Bahrain Grand Prix is held in Malaysia. In a normal year, the Bahrain GP will happen much earlier in the season. But due to the ongoing Iran war, the tournament was canceled and Bahrain’s organizers decided to sponsor the tournament elsewhere in the world.
Despite no longer being part of the official F1 calendar, Sepang is a fan-favourite circuit that should make for some exciting action.
Again, use the Apple TV app to tune in for free, no subscription required. The match begins at 3:00 am ET, with the broadcast beginning at 1:50 am.
