After more than a decade without using a touch screen in its Mac recorder, Apple will finally release its first touch screen MacBook on November 6, after announcing it on October 27.
Of course, rumors are rumors – although all reputable sources have agreed with the idea MacBook Pro Get support for touch soon. Apple even left some hints in macOS 27: tap support in Sidecar, pull to refresh support, and slightly larger menu bar items.
One could call all this a mere coincidence, but it may be what it seems. Regardless, here’s what the first touchscreen MacBook will have to offer.
OLED, dynamic island
On the side of the display, a new design MacBook Pro Will come with a Tandem OLED display. This will be similar iPad Prowhich is often praised as one of the best mobile displays on the market. Tandem OLED consists of stacked OLED panels, which allows for incredible color, strong contrast, and increased brightness.
Reports also suggest that it will come with a Dynamic Island, and it will be smaller than the one on the iPhone. However, it will not come with Face ID support.

Software optimization
according to Bloomberg’s Mark GurmanApple will have some special improvements for the first touch screen MacBook ProBeyond what was seen in the betas of macOS 27:
“For example, if the user taps a button or control, the interface will display a new type of menu around their finger that provides more relevant options for touch commands.
The software will also display the most appropriate set of controls based on previous user interactions. And if a person taps an item in the menu bar at the top of the screen, the control panel expands to allow easier finger selection.”
Chip M5 Pro and M5 Max
Despite initial reports suggesting that we will see the debut of the M6 Pro and Max in a new design. MacBook ProApple is now skipping the release of those chips to speed up the M7. This means that the 2nm chips will once again not make their way to the redesigned MacBook Pros, and they will offer the existing M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.
There won’t be a basic version of this computer yet, although there are rumors that Apple will launch a basic version of the design again. MacBook Pro with the M7 chip early next spring.
The body is slightly thinner, noticeably lighter
Rumors about the design of one for the new MacBook Pro Is the fact that it will be lighter and lighter – although it is not clear what that means. Finally MacBook Pro Repetition makes the computer look and feel quite solid, so a little progress here might be welcome – as long as it doesn’t come at a thermal compromise.
Bloomberg It is also reported that these computers will be ‘significantly lighter,’ thanks to the reinvention of internal components.
Release date
according to Power On NewsletterApple may release these new MacBook Pro models on November 6, four weeks after Apple launched the new iPhone Duo, HomePod mini 2, and new models. MacBook ProAnd HomeView + Apple TV 4K.
Currently, there is no Apple released on November 6, so it makes sense to be a new machine MacBook Pro:
Now, I have a little to share: Apple is planning to organize a “reset” at its retail stores on the evening of Thursday, November 5, into Friday, November 6, which means that new labels and products will be placed on the store table. Since this Friday is the week after the Mac announcement (when Apple usually releases products), it makes sense that this is the date that at least some of the new items will be available to customers.
