The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is a powerful laptop that works well for a wide range of tasks. Available at Best Buy for $400 off, this model features a 15.3-inch 2K touchscreen, an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. For $600 it’s an absolute steal.
Great for most people
Choosing a laptop is difficult because there are so many options from different manufacturers. Even if you want to narrow it down to a brand like Lenovo, it has a large enough portfolio of PC products that it’s still difficult to choose.
Those looking for a good value will find the IdeaPad Slim 3 a good option. It’s great for everyday tasks like browsing the web, watching videos, and writing documents. You also get integrated AMD Radeon graphics that can handle light games.
The large 15.3-inch screen provides plenty of screen real estate and offers touch controls for added convenience. Despite its size, it still offers up to 15 hours of battery life. For ports, there are two USB-A ports, one USB-C port, HDMI, 3.5mm audio jack and an SD card reader.
There’s also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 720p webcam. We haven’t had the pleasure of reviewing this model, but based on the feedback we’re seeing at Best Buy, a 4.8/5 star rating out of over 100 reviews is a strong indication that this model is easily recommended.
While the original $1,000 price tag is a bit much, we think the $400 to $600 discount is fair. If you’re not quite sold, head to your local Best Buy to check it out.
